Northern Ireland beat Luxembourg, 1x2, on Friday, in a match relating to the Grp.A of the Women´s World Cup Qualifying (UEFA).
The first half came to an end without goals.
In the 52nd minute, Sarah McFadden Robson opened the scoring for Northern Ireland, assisted by Demi Vance. After 80 minutes, Amy Thompson fired home for Luxembourg. With 81 minutes on the clock, Luxembourg's national team saw forward get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. Rebecca Mckenna netted the last goal in the 85th minute.
In the next fixture, Northern Ireland will play away against Latvia, whilst Luxembourg visit England.
