France overcame Poland, 3x1, on Sunday, in a match relating to the Last 16 of the World Cup. Kylian Mbappé made a tremendous game.
The first goal was scored by Olivier Giroud shortly before the interval, with a left-foot shot inside the box.
After 74 minutes, Kylian Mbappé fired home France second goal, with a right-foot shot. In the final minutes of the game, midfielder doubled the lead for France's national team, with a right-foot strike inside the penalty area. In time added on, Robert Lewandowski netted the final goal of the game, from the penalty spot.
Thanks to this result, France are through to the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Didier Deschamps's team visit England.
