Tigre edge past Lanús

Tigre defeated Lanús in a close win on Sunday, 2x1, on to matchday 9 of the Argentine League. To this matchweek, Diego Martínez's team came from three defeats, and Frank Kudelka's team came from two draws.

After 16 minutes, Cristián Lema left the game early after seeing a red card. With 36 minutes on the clock, Alexis Castro opened the scoring for Tigre.

After 66 minutes, Leandro Díaz struck for Lanús. With 80 minutes on the clock, Lautaro Montoya saw a red card after receiving his second yellow Mateo Retegui scored the winner in the closing stages of the game.
