Yoane Wissa scored an injury-time winner as Brentford continued their strong finish to the season with a 2-1 win at Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
On as a substitute, Wissa netted from a tight angle to seal the points after a dramatic finish on the south coast.
The game had remained goal-less until the 86th minute when Bryan Mbeumo converted after being set up by Wissa, but the Cherries equalised just minutes later through Dominic Solanke's looping header.
Earlier in the contest, there were two VAR flashpoints, one for either side. Solanke had a goal ruled out midway through the first period, and then the visitors were denied a penalty in the second-half; referee Matt Donahue overturning his initial decision to award a spot-kick for a foul on Ivan Toney.
Although Brentford have endured a tough season strewn with injuries, they are finishing in positive fashion and have won three of their last five top flight games.
