Crawley delivered another dominant performance against MK Dons, securing a commanding 5-1 victory at Stadium MK, sealing an impressive 8-1 aggregate win and booking their spot in the Sky Bet League Two play-off final at Wembley.
With a 3-0 advantage from the first leg, the visitors never allowed MK Dons to threaten their lead, extending the Dons' poor play-off record with their sixth failed attempt to reach a final.
The Reds wasted no time as Jay Williams capitalised on a defensive error just three minutes into the match, calmly slotting the ball past Dons goalkeeper Filip Marschall.
On the half hour mark, Danilo Orsi doubled Crawley's lead to put the tie beyond reach for the hosts.
MK Dons managed to pull one back on stroke of half time, with Max Dean tapping in from close range after Jack Tucker's header across goal.
However, Crawley quickly restored their two-goal advantage early in the second half, with Orsi scoring his second of the game.
MK Dons' hopes further dwindled as Corey Addai saved Max Dean's penalty midway the second half, and Crawley continued to press, adding two more goals through Jack Roles and Orsi to complete his hat-trick in stoppage time.
The victory sets up Crawley's first-ever trip to Wembley Stadium, where they will face Crewe Alexandra on May 19 at 1pm.
