Former Wigan Athletic boss Leam Richardson has emerged as the early favourite to become Portsmouth's new manager.
Pompey sacked Danny Cowley last night and Richardson is the early frontrunner to replace Cowley in the dugout at Fratton Park.
Other names in the fold include former Sheffield United and Middlesbrough boss Chris Wilder, Lee Bowyer and Liam Manning, according to bookies Bet Victor.
Currently even money to be appointed by Portsmouth, Richardson won League One last season with Wigan Athletic, but was sacked by the Latics in November shortly after signing a new three-and-a-half year deal.
Dean Smith, Karl Robinson and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink are other names circulating in the managerial rumour mill at the moment, in relation to Pompey's vacancy.
