FC Zurich get the better of FC Sion

FC Zurich defeated FC Sion, 2x1, on Saturday, on to matchday 20 of the Swiss Super League. To this matchday, Max Merkel's team came from a defeat, and Sion's team came from a draw.

In the 29th minute, Walter Seiler opened the scoring for FC Zurich.

After 49 minutes, Zürich's team increased their lead with a goal from Jure Jerkovic. It was his 10th goal of the season. Georges Bregy netted the last goal with 61 minutes on the clock from the penalty spot.

After the result FC Zurich are 3rd in the table, with 25 points, while FC Sion sit 9th place, with 21 points. With regard to the next fixture, Max Merkel's team visit Bellinzona, whilst Sion's team will play at home against FC Basel.
