Everton defeat Leicester City

Everton defeated Leicester City in a close win on Saturday, 1x2, on matchday 8. In this competition, Claude Puel's team came from two wins, and Marco Silva's team came from a win.

The first goal of the game was scored by Richarlison, with a right-foot strike inside the box, in the 7th minute.  after 40 minutes, Ricardo Pereira fired home for Leicester City, with a left-foot shot, laid on by Kelechi Iheanacho.

In the 63rd minute, Claude Puel's team saw Wes Morgan get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the winning goal with 77 minutes on the clock with a right-foot shot from outside the penalty box. With this goal, Gylfi Sigurdsson reached the 5th goal of the season.

After the result Leicester City are 10th in the table, with 12 points, while Everton sit 11th place, with 12 points. In the next fixture, Liverpool's team will play at home against Crystal Palace, whilst Leicester's team will play away against Arsenal.
