Grasshoppers edged out by FC Basel 

FC Basel beat Grasshoppers, 0x4, on Sunday, relating to matchday 19 of Liga Suiça. To this matchday, Thorsten Fink's team came from three defeats, and Marcel Koller's team came from two wins. van Wolfswinkel made a tremendous game.

After 19 minutes, van Wolfswinkel opened the score for FC Basel. With 26 minutes on the clock, Grasshoppers saw Arlind Ajeti get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. With 36 minutes on the clock, van Wolfswinkel struck the second goal for Basel's team, assisted by Kevin Bua. 

Van Wolfswinkel completed the hat-trick, assisted by Valentin Stocker, with 73 minutes on the clock. In the 76th minute, Albian Ajeti scored the last goal of the match, laid on by Silvan Widmer.

After the result FC Basel are 2nd in the table, with 33 points, while Grasshoppers sit 9th place, with 17 points. Next up, Basel's team will host St. Gallen, whilst Zürich's team visit FC Zurich.
