Altrincham have far too much for York City

Altrincham thumped York City, 6-1, on Tuesday, on matchweek 39. Coming into the contest, Phil Parkinson's team came from a defeat, and Adam Hinshelwood's team came from a draw. Alex Newby with a superb display.

In the 65th minute, Maziar Kouhyar fired home for York City. After 71 minutes, Alex Newby doubled the lead for Altrincham. In the 81st minute, Phil Parkinson's team extended their lead with a goal from Chris Conn-Clarke. In the final minutes of the game, Alex Newby netted the final goal of the game.

After the result Altrincham are 7th in the table, with 58 points, while York City sit 23rd place, with 40 points. In the next fixture, Phil Parkinson's team will play away against Boreham Wood. Meanwhile, Adam Hinshelwood's team will host Aldershot Town.
