Northampton Town defeated by Peterborough United

Peterborough United defeated Northampton Town in a win on Friday, 3x1, on matchday 42. Before this Matchday, Peterborough's team came from a win, and Northampton's team came from a draw. Samuel Szmodics was on fire.

 Samuel Szmodics opened the score in the 33rd minute, with a right-foot strike inside the box. After 43 minutes, Sam Hoskins struck for Northampton Town, from the penalty spot.

With 48 minutes on the clock, Samuel Szmodics fired home Peterborough United's second goal, with a right-foot shot, after a pass from Jack Taylor.  Jonson Clarke-Harris netted the last goal with 67 minutes on the clock from the penalty spot.
