Leicester City came from behind to draw 1-1 in their Carabao Cup semi-final first leg clash against Midlands rivals Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
Brendan Rodgers' men started the contest brightly and dominated the early stages.
However, it was the the Villans who took the lead inside 30 minutes, when Anwar El-Ghazi delivered a perfect cross to the far post where Frederic Guilbert beat Ben Chilwell to the punch to turn home his first goal for Villa.
In the second-half, Leicester switched things up: introducing Hamza Choudhury and Kelechi Iheanacho into the game. Both subs were then involved in the Foxes' leveller, Choudhury recovering the ball for James Maddison, who released Iheanacho - the Nigerian striking a powerful shot past Orjan Nyland.
The draw leaves all to play for in the second leg at Villa Park on 28 January - a spot in the Carabao Cup final awaiting the winners.
